화훼 종묘 유통을 주 사업으로 1988년 창업한 세기원예는 그동안 화훼 농업인 여러분의 성원에 힘입어 꾸준히 발전해 왔습니다.
1990년대부터 국내 생산묘 중심의 기존 품종 위주에서 벗어나, 세계 유수의 육종사들과 제휴하여 각종 절화류 신품종 도입에 앞장서 왔으며, 2000년대에는 사업을 장미와 숙근초 중심으로 집중하고, 본사의 김해 농장에서 주요 품목들에 대한 품종 선발을 실시함으로써 농업인 여러분의 기대에 부응해 왔습니다.
2012년 창원시 대산면 소재 새 농장으로 이전하여 더욱 전문성 있는 생산 관리 체계를 수립하고, 절화류 뿐만 아니라 각종 분화류 품종 선발과 생산으로 사업 영역을 넓히고, 한국을 대표하는 전문 화훼 종묘 공급자로서 성장해 나가고 있습니다.
Seki Flora had been established in 1988 as the company that distributes young plants to flower growers in Korea.
In 1990's, the company had started cooperating with leading international breeders in order to meet the requirements to supply top quality varieties to the market.
The business had been getting more professional especially on the roses and the perennial crops since 2000. Most of the new varieties had to be tested in the trialhouse in Gimhae, southeast of Korea. This improved the company to provide necessary informations of the crops to the customers.
In 2012, the farm had been moved to Changwon, located about 25km northwest from the original place. Various potted plants as well as cut flower varieties are grown and selected here.
